Today the painting crew got a first coat done on the outside of Carlitos' house and then ran out of paint. So while I ran off to get some they spent some time helping out at the clinic and playing with kids in the village. The foundation for the back patio is dug, rocks are in and cement is poured. This team is awesome at getting work done!

Today we had to call an ambulance for a woman who came into the clinic with an infected rabbit bite from 2 weeks ago. Luckily her husband pays into IGGS (Guatemala social security) and so she was able to go to their hospital which is much nicer than the national hospital that is available to everyone.

Tomorrow is our diabetic day and our doctor will be seeing patients along with one of the nurses.

  1. Thank you for the updates about the Saint Joseph's College group.  It looks like they have had a busy week.  It was so nice seeing a picture of our daughter in the group riding to San Pedro, Atitlan.  We are anxious to hear about her experiences.  Paul & Linda
