One St. Joe's team gone, another arrives

The first team from Saint Joseph's College of Maine left PID yesterday, after a full week of construction work and a few mobile clinics. Not long after they left, the SECOND team from Saint Joe's arrived at PID. They started their trip this morning and seem to be just as positive as the last group!

As for the team that left yesterday, they made great progress on the Canaan house and was able to meet Mr. Thomas, who is moving into one of the duplex houses that is almost finished. Mr. Thomas met with the team and described for them what his current home in Cite Soleil is like: there are piles of trash, animal waste and overcrowding. Mr Thomas, and all people, deserve better than to live like that. When you come on a PID trip, your trip helps PID build homes for people like the Thomas family.
