Today was the first day of work in the village for our team in Guatemala. The doctor and nurse worked in the clinic seeing patients. Everyone from 3 months old to 91 years old! Two plancha stoves got installed this morning for Juliana and Silvia. They will now be able to cook for their families and not worry about smoke filling their kitchen. The chidlren's program had a morning and afternoon session. The younger kids in the morning enjoyed doing crafts and coloring with the team members. In the afternoon we did the program at the school in Saqui. The kids really enjoying "playing" (hitting each other) with the foam pool noodles. We experiences a good guatemalan downpour at the end of the day and one team member said, "You guys weren't kidding about rainy season."
