Endicott in Haiti update!

The Endicott College team has had a great week of work so far. They continued work on a duplex and its neighboring single, while the nursing students assisted in Well Child check-up's on Thursday and saw kids and adults who were coming for normal consultations on Friday and Saturday morning. 

Saturday afternoon the team went to the museum downtown to see the more urban parts of Port au Prince and thenenjoyed a night out at a local restaurant.

Today the team is hitting up a beach and resting up for their last two work days. I am impresed by their upbeat spirits and good attitudes. Building houses and seeing patients is not easy. And in addition to those challenges there is also the heat, the language barrier and the cultural differences, the team is doing a great job processing their week and staying focused. :)
