The team arrived safely in Guatemala. They seem excited and enthusiastic to start working tomorrow. The clinic team will be split between seeing patients at the PID clinic and working in the field at schools doing well-child checkups for around 1000 students. The other team members will be working on making and installing water filters - we hope to install thirty over the next two weeks! So we will all be very busy.
A new intern named Karen arrived today as well. She will be working with our social worker Alejandra on socio-economic studies for families involved in our programs.
