Update from Haiti

Yoga team member Pamela safely departed this morning, after a great week here. Its obvious that she will really be missed for the rest of the week’s activities. This afternoon everyone relaxed at the public beach, then spent the evening gearing up for the remainder of yoga classes and craft projects this week. On the ride back from the beach on the tap-tap, the group saw a carnival celebration in action: a group of 20 -30 people running down the street dancing and drumming. Carnival is the Catholic celebration that comes just before Lent, At least in Haiti, it means costumes, street parties and parades, and very, very loud music.
