After prepping pom-poms for the afternoon craft, the team set out and installed two stoves. They got to see another section of the village that seems like you are walking through a jungle. They also made friends along the way with some of the children and families. They are impressed by the friendliness of the people and the attitude of the kids.
Two people stayed back with Gale and I amd continued to make the pom-poms. After they had finished we brought two suitcases of medical supplies and prenatal vitamins to the Centro de Salud (local Health Center) in downtown San Antonio. We then did a few errands. They were able to see the central park and go into the Mayan market.
