This
little boy was born two days ago in his home in Desierto. His mother is
seventeen years old. She has one older daughter who is two years old and she
had another child that passed away a year ago. The father recently abandoned
his wife and children. His grandmother and a neighbor brought him into the
clinic. They have been giving him boiled water in an eye dropper because they
can’t afford to buy formula. Family members told the mother to give him away
because he isn’t going to live past four days. We have started him on formula
as an emergency child. This baby is in need of two sponsors to help buy him formula and get surgery in the future
to fix his lip and palate.
