Today we are happy to announce that the PID compound in Haiti is now running off solar power! Chris and Henry finished work installing the batteries and they charged today from the solar panels in the sun. We are so excited for an end to our electricity problems! This evening we are enjoying great power, while Chris and Henry are shutting off lights and fans behind us, reminding us to conserve power.
This evening 4 team members arrived. Tomorrow they will be working in the clinic. We welcome them and look forward to a great week with them!
