Today half the team went to Bon Repos to do our first mobile clinic in a new clinic building there. The mobile clinic was a huge success, and they saw over 100 patients. One of our team members, a high schooler, ran the pharmacy single-handedly and did a fantastic job. The other half stayed here at PID’s clinic for prenatal day. A nurse-midwife on the team taught home birthing classes to all the pregnant women that came through today, and the classes went very well.
After work, I took the team for a walk around the neighborhood to see the houses PID built in the Blanchard area. After dinner, they spent their evening bagging prenatal vitamins for the prenatal clinic we are to have tomorrow.
